According to a recent poll approximately 71 percent of people are addicted to online shopping. Online shopping offers several benefits that can appeal to a potential shopper. Online shopping offers more sales, the ability to avoid unwanted lines and a wide selection of products at your finger tips. People that cannot leave their house or do not like to commute also benefit from online shopping. Online shopping is usually marketed to consumers by showing them how convenient online shopping can be. A survey done by Chinese youth daily surveyed 2,580 and 25.6 thought they were seriously addicted and 45.5 considered themselves moderately addicted. What is it about online shopping that intrigues people so much? The internet often offers a sense of security to people that they might not otherwise experience in the stores. People go online, they search for what they want and then they buy it. Shopping online is a relatively simple process with not that much of a hassle; there is no bad customer service, no hassle, no commute and certainly no lines. The only drawback that most people have with on line shopping is waiting for the package to be delivered and not being able to try things on. Females experience shopping addictions more than guys. Many women go online and shop and some actually find the process relaxing. As lifestyles get busy online shopping will continue have a huge market for their customers. Online almost everything around the world is at your finger tips and that just makes the process even more exciting.
